Live Well, Love Well, Leave Well
Your Legacy Echoes Network is a Western Canadian nonprofit helping people age 45+ — and the people in their circle — build the habits, connections, and self-care to preserve healthy aging, vital information, and lasting legacies.
Why We Built This For You
We saw the same story too many times: Gen X caregivers holding families together while vital information was scattered across devices, filing cabinets, and half-remembered conversations. When crisis hit, exhausted families were forced to play detective instead of being present with each other.
We built Your Legacy Echoes Network to change that.
Our Mission & Vision
Your Legacy Echoes Network is an Alberta-based, Western Canadian non-profit built around proactive life management.
Our Mission: Helping people build the habits, connections, and self-care to preserve healthy aging and lasting legacies.
Our Vision: To create a future where people across Western Canada age well, stay connected, prepare with clarity, and preserve their stories, wishes, values, and voice across generations.
We support Gen X families, seniors, unpaid caregivers, and future executors carrying the weight of midlife — aging parents, children still at home, demanding work, and their own well-being too often pushed to the bottom of the list.
Through the Echoes Essentials Toolkit and Echoes Digital Vault (powered by SideDrawer Inc.), we help people organize their documents and vital records, prepare for the people in their circle, and preserve legacy messages and family stories — before stress, illness, aging, grief, or estate responsibilities force a crisis.
Our Three Pillars
Prepare
- Bring scattered life details into one organized system so the people you care about have a clear roadmap instead of a scavenger hunt.
Protect
- Support mental wellness, self-care, and healthy aging for midlife caregivers, seniors, and families navigating life’s harder seasons.
Preserve
- Capture your stories and voice in writing so the people you love understand you, not just remember you.
More Than a Family Tree: Letters That Keep Us Close
Most of us mean to write things down. We mean to tell our kids what shaped us, what we admire in them and our friends, or intend to leave our parents’ stories somewhere safe. Life gets in the way.
We built the legacy letter feature because we believe connection shouldn’t depend on finding the right words at the right moment. Short prompts, 15-minute increments, no writing experience required — just your voice, your memories, and your honest words.
In a world where AI can replicate almost anything, the real thing matters more than ever.
You Can't Pour From an Empty Cup
Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s survival.
Unpaid caregivers and midlife families carry a lot. Organizing your affairs and planning for the future takes energy — and that energy has to come from somewhere.
That’s why the Echoes Essentials Toolkit includes more than documents and checklists. The Mind and Body Routine section, Wellness Hub, and Self-Care Daily Journal support the practical work of staying well — sleep, stress, hormones, and brain health — so you can show up for the people counting on you without running on empty.
Resources That Save You Time
You don’t need more information—you need the right information, in the right order, without falling into a late-night Google spiral. Your Legacy Echoes Network curates practical, plain-language resources across Pre-Planning, End-of-Life Planning, and Grief Support pages, so you can find what you need and move forward with confidence. We also support your Executor with clear resources and step-by-step guidance—turning an overwhelming role into manageable, bite-size tasks.
We point you to credible “start here” tools and official resources—like advance care planning guides and province-specific directive forms so you can prepare thoughtfully. Our resources focus on practical acts of love that protect your family and your future executor: clarifying your values, documenting your wishes, and making sure your voice can be honoured if the unexpected happens.
A Network That Shows Up for You
Who We’re Building With
Your Legacy Echoes Network is actively building partnerships with aligned nonprofits and community organizations dedicated to helping Gen X families, unpaid caregivers, and seniors prepare, stay organized, and protect their well-being. Through our referral partnership program, participating organizations earn 30% of gross revenue when their members purchase the Echoes Essentials Toolkit — a practical fundraising option with no grants, events, or added administrative burden.
Our Expert Network
We’re building a trusted network of professionals who understand the needs of seniors and Gen X caregivers — including estate lawyers, financial planners, therapists, grief specialists, senior-care providers, and legacy coaches. Our goal: help subscribers get clarity and structure plus connect them with vetted experts through partner listings, educational features, interviews, and member perks where available.
“Your Legacy Echoes Network was created from lived experience. We’ve felt the strain of caregiving during sudden decline, and we’ve seen what happens to executors when paperwork isn’t clear—delays, confusion, stress and avoidable costs. This is why we built a better way to get organized.”

Join Us as We Grow
Preparing isn’t morbid—it’s kindness. When essential details and wishes are organized, the people managing your affairs spend less time searching and more time being present with each other. That’s the heart of what we’re building.
We’re a young nonprofit. As we grow, we’re refining the Echoes Essentials Toolkit, expanding resources, and building a network of trusted partners—so you can find what you need in one place.
Whether you’re organizing essentials, building healthier habits, or writing letters your grandkids will treasure, Your Legacy Echoes Network is here for you. It’s a space for the person who shows up for everyone else—and wants a clear, supportive place to start.
