Live Well, Love Well, Leave Well
Your Legacy Echoes Network is an Alberta-based nonprofit helping adults across Western Canada reduce future stress by preparing before they become a caregiver or executor — or need one themselves.
We encourage people to start earlier, organize with intention, and create more clarity for the people they care about.
Why We Built This For You
We saw the same story too many times.
Important details were scattered across phones, filing cabinets, inboxes, and half-remembered conversations. People caring for aging parents, serving as executors, or trying to organize their own lives were left searching for information when they needed it most.
When a crisis occurred, they were forced to play detective instead of being present with the people they cared about.
We built Your Legacy Echoes Network to help people prepare earlier—before illness, aging, grief, or estate responsibilities make life more difficult.
Through practical education and resources in the Echoes Essentials Toolkit (which includes the Echoing Hearts Letter Keeper) we provide encouragement, reminders, and tools to help people organize essential information, communicate their wishes, support their well-being, and preserve their voice and life experiences. The Echoes Digital Vault, powered by SideDrawer Inc., provides a secure place to upload and organize important documents.
Our Cause:
Too many people postpone preparing because conversations about illness, incapacity, and death can feel uncomfortable, overwhelming, or difficult to begin. As a result, important information remains scattered, wishes go unrecorded, and personal stories, values, and words may never be preserved or found.
When illness, caregiving, or death occurs, the people in their circle should not have to face a second crisis of searching, guessing, unanswered questions, or unclear wishes. Nor should meaningful words and stories be lost because someone lacked awareness, guidance, an affordable option, or an accessible place to begin.
Our cause is to make proactive preparation easier to understand, discuss, and act upon—reducing unnecessary stress and confusion while helping more people preserve their voice and provide the people who care about them with clarity, reassurance, and a place to begin.
Our Mission
We help adults remain the authors of their own stories by bringing expert guidance, secure organization, practical education, healthy-aging resources, and legacy preservation together in one accessible, affordable network.
Your Legacy Echoes Network helps people preserve their voices through guided legacy letters and a secure digital vault—
- to prevent the unnecessary loss of their stories, values, wishes, and words;
- reduce the stress of searching, guessing, and unanswered questions for the people in their circle; and
- provide reassurance, clarity, and a lasting connection through illness, caregiving, and grief.
Our Vision
We envision a Canada where preparing for the future is understood not as planning for death, but as part of living fully—staying organized, caring for your well-being, and preserving your words for the moment they may be needed most.
Today, only about 48% of Canadians have a will, including 34% of adults ages 35–54 and 30% of adults ages 18–34. These numbers reflect more than procrastination. Fear, discomfort, limited awareness, cost, and uncertainty about where to begin can all prevent people from preparing.
Our vision is to help more people feel comfortable taking action by replacing fear and silence with awareness, practical information, accessible options, and affordable ways to begin. We support people in preparing while continuing to pursue health and connection, so preparation becomes an act of living well, loving well, and leaving well.
Our Three Pillars
Prepare
Put the practical and legal essentials in place before life becomes urgent. Document your decisions, communicate your wishes, and gather the information caregivers, emergency contacts, and future executors may one day need.
Protect
Bring your documents, decisions, instructions, and important life details into one secure, organized system. Keep them current and accessible to the right people so they have a clear roadmap instead of a scavenger hunt.
Preserve
Preserve your health today with a view toward a healthier, more independent tomorrow. Through healthy-aging resources, practical self-care, and legacy letter writing, you can support your wellbeing, encourage greater independence as you age, and preserve meaningful stories, inspiration, and messages for the people in your circle.
Echoing Hearts Letter Keeper
Most of us intend to write things down.
Most of us want to share the stories, lessons, memories, and words that shaped us. But life gets busy, and the right moment does not always come.
Echoing Hearts Letter Keeper helps you preserve meaningful messages in short, simple steps.
No writing experience needed. Just your voice, your memories, and your honest words.
In a world where AI can replicate almost anything, the real thing matters more than ever.
You Can't Pour From an Empty Cup
Self-care is not selfish. It is part of preparation.
Many adults are carrying work, family, aging parents, grief, health changes, and future planning.
That takes energy.
Our Wellness Hub, Mind and Body Routine, and Self-Care Daily Journal help you protect your well-being while you prepare.
Small habits matter. So does having support.

A Network That Shows Up for You
A Fundraising Tool for Other Nonprofits
Your Legacy Echoes Network was also created to support other nonprofit organizations. The Echoes Essentials Toolkit can be used as a simple fundraising tool for aligned nonprofits, community groups, and service organizations. When their community subscribes through their referral link, the organization receives 30% of the subscription while helping people access practical planning tools. It is one more way we can reduce stress, build connection, and support community care across Western Canada.
Our Expert Network
We are building partnerships with nonprofits, community organizations, and trusted professionals across Western Canada. Our goal is simple: help people find support before they are in crisis. Our growing Professional Directory connects members with trusted experts in planning, aging, estate, wellness, and family support.
“Your Legacy Echoes Network was created from lived experience. We know how stressful it can be when caregiving, health changes, or executor responsibilities arrive before people feel prepared. We have seen families forced to search for answers when important details are scattered. That is why we built a better way to get organized before life gets harder.”
