Dan Dragon
Chairman
Dan holds a Ph.D. from the University of Alberta and has served as a safety officer at the university for over 20 years. Even after decades living in Edmonton, he remains enamored by the river valley and thoroughly enjoys being a tourist in his own city. Dan appreciates all the resources and supports that the Your Legacy Echoes Network has assembled (and continues to expand) for members to consider and utilize at their own pace.
Corey Lee
Secretary
Born and raised in Lethbridge, Corey holds a B.Ed. from the University of Lethbridge and is a retired teacher with over 30 years of experience. He brings strong leadership and community service experience, having served on five community boards. His 20+ years of volunteer involvement includes crisis support, homelessness outreach, Festival Singers, and The Mankind Project. He also brings practical executor experience from two estates. Corey is a proud father of two and grandfather of two.
Hedjairah Mendoza
Treasurer
Hedjairah is an accounting student and volunteer bookkeeper with Your Legacy Echoes Network, supporting financial recordkeeping and basic accounting tasks. She is currently in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting & Analytics and is working toward her CPA. As a wife and proud mother of two, she is building her career while balancing school, work and family life.
Eric Menard
Director
Eric was born in Fort Smith, NWT, and has spent over half his life in Yellowknife. With over 30 years in the IT industry and current studies in Cybersecurity, he brings valuable technical experience. After losing his mother to a rare, fast-moving brain disease and slowly losing his father to Alzheimer’s, Eric understands how important the website’s planning resources are. He values humour for good mental health, loves making others laugh, and enjoys camping, biking, and playing cards with friends.
Ann Myrholm
Director
As a retired librarian, Ann has a deep passion for family history and storytelling. She is proud that, under her directorship in 1994, Wildwood Public Library was recognized as Alberta’s most utilized per capita. Her values align deeply with YLEN’s mission of “Prepare, Protect, and Preserve”. Ann treasures time creating lasting memories with her 3 adult children and 11 grandchildren. She is especially excited that the Legacy Letter Keeper safeguards and passes on those memories for generations to come.
Lisa Mac
Director
Lisa is an entrepreneur with 25 years as a hairdresser and salon owner, now expanding into Marketing. She brings to the board her kindness, empathy, and listening skills that has built a loyal clientele. She is also a fitness trainer and certified yoga instructor who values an active, healthy lifestyle. She enjoys long walks on sunny days with her dogs. Lisa is self-motivated, growth-minded, and brings her best to her work and the people she loves. She is devoted to her husband, family, and friends.
